Supply Chain Risk Management is a hot topic given globalization and Interos is the only company that uses AI to non-invasively map out sub-tier relationships to gain a full picture of a supplier/product ecosystem. To keep up with rapid demand, we need an experienced VP, Federal Sales to take the Interos AI Platform to key decision makers in the DOD & Civilian agencies. Today, there is nobody providing this type of technology and Interos has a unique 18-month window to exponentially grow its commercial account market share.
- Owns and leads the Federal sales team, quota, revenue targets, and sales projections.
- Manages an existing sales team with the view of growing the team in the Federal space.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key decision makers in the DOD & Federal Civilian agencies.
- Develops detailed strategy plans for targeted DOD Programs (Army, Navy, USAF, etc.)
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy (new business) for each branch and major program in the assignment to ensure tactical penetration.
- Responsible for qualifying, developing and closing new opportunities in the entire government sector.
- Develops a business plan and new-business sales strategy that ensures tactical penetration and attainment of direct sales quota.
- Remains highly knowledgeable on key contacts in the government agencies along with contracting vehicles and methodologies.
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of leading and managing federal sales.
- 5+ years of experience building successful federal sales teams.
- A verifiable track record of sales quota attainment.
- Domain expertise of SaaS-based solutions is required.
- Outstanding analytical, organizational, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- High comfort level and presence to senior level executives and decision makers in the military, intelligence community and all civilian agencies.
