Business Development Team Lead

The Opportunity:

You will have considerable impact on prospecting strategy and tactics, working as a bridge to the wider organization. Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, you will be a key asset the BDR team’s path beyond quota. You will learn the ins and outs of a what it takes to be a BDR manager. You will become an incredible influence on a BDRs path to promotion and overall career trajectory.

Essential Functions/duties:

  • Maintaining prospecting processes through Salesforce and Outreach.io.
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the SDR Leadership team to improve discovery calls and qualification processes.
  • Assist in onboarding new BDRs.
  • Ongoing BDR coaching.
  • Ensuring BDR process is followed and accurately reported.
  • Work closely with the Events and Digital teams on Field events and targeted ad and nurture campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the Account Executive department to ensure a smooth hand-off of new discovery calls and reviewing the quality of discovery calls on a regular basis.
  • Creating sales development resources including, but not limited to, call scripts and prospecting emails to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of our messaging.
  • Measuring and reporting against KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of BDR experience.
  • Thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Ability to learn quickly and you are always searching for ways to expand your knowledge.
  • Prospecting is what we do here - you must have a strong passion for it and its processes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SalesForce, ZoomInfo, Lusha, LinkedIn and Outreach.io.

Additional Information:

  • Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel. This position may require up to 10% travel. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight.
  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
  • Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
  • Colorado Only: The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $47,000 – 62,000.
  • FLSA Status: Nonexempt
