The Opportunity: 

This exciting role is created for a strong SVP, Brand & Corporate Communications to develop and operationalize Interos’ Brand and Communications strategy. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will set direction and oversee execution of all brand and communications priorities for Interos while employing data and metrics to demonstrate impact. As a Brand and Corporate Communication leader you will manage the work of all members on the Brand and Corporate Communications team and support their continued professional development. You will facilitate the coordination of all Brand and Communications related activities, including resource management, project management, agency management and external vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the CMO to design, develop and implement a bold vision for Interos’ brand and communications strategy.
  • Create the company profile, the "Interos story," and deploy across external and internal channels and platforms.
  • Own Interos PR strategy and execution
  • Define and develop measurement methodologies for PR impact to the bottom line.
  • Develop executive thought leadership platform establishing Interos as the market leader, developing internal and external speakers, subject matter experts ensuring the brand is represented in strategic forums.
  • Ensure positioning, brand architecture, attributes and key messages are applied throughout the entire organization.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all departments and communications channels; collateral, web, social, advertising and events.
  • Develop the Interos brand identity and design: logo, color palette, design language, typography, digital and physical applications.
  • Establish brand guidelines: visual, verbal, and behavioral.
  • Define the role of brand in product development, working with the Product team to ensure a link between brand and offer.
  • Define the role in company culture, including internal comms/employee engagement programs (in collaboration with HR) and brand training.
  • Purpose & social responsibility (philanthropy, academic/education support, community relations, social and cultural outreach)

External/Internal Communications:

  • Engage the external stakeholders and serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on brand and corporate communications.
  • Work with Head of Media Relations and Public Affairs to ensure brand and thought leadership focus.
  • Oversee development of leaders’ speech and script writing.
  • Oversee external content including digital/social media presence, press releases, web and blog content, brand messaging, market thought leadership, qualifications and award submissions.
  • Oversee communications related to events (e.g., conferences, awards, speaking engagements.
  • Own internal communications, ensure Interos employees are enabled and engaged in building market awareness, and conveying company values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred
  • 15+ years of prior communications experience preferably in a technology firm
  • 7+ years of experience managing and developing cross-functional teams
  • Communications leadership with or for large technology companies
  • Experience writing/editing internal and external communication for senior executives
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship development skills
  • Proven track record of managing projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience leading and managing people, projects and cross-functional stakeholders in a global setting
  • Experience in measuring the effectiveness of communication strategies and approaches
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Up to 25% travel required
