The Opportunity:

As a hypergrowth unicorn, we are moving fast to scale. We need to do that in a sustainable manner. The PM will work across Interos’ Finance and Operations team to establish the right systems and processes to make this happen. The successful candidate will be the driving force to ensure successful and on-time delivery of finance and accounting related projects. As the go-to person for the system integration for finance applications impacting teams, you work with stakeholders across several Interos teams. You will ensure that all stakeholders are aware of outstanding issues and project status. You will tailor your communications to specific audiences as well as communicate clearly and concisely to both accounting and technical audiences. Finally, as a member of the team you will take an active role in our focus on continuous improvement.

 
Essential Functions/duties:

  • Collaborate with leadership to build and implement plans for multiple accounting system and process improvements
  • Design and implement effective and efficient internal control processes
  • Working with stakeholders and technical teams to define and deliver against project plan objectives
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Plan and manage multiple projects/systems implementations
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
  • Be the glue that is able to understand, plan, and manage the cross-team interdependencies for complex systems
  • Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal/external dependencies

 
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in program or project management
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or related field plus 5+ years’ experience in finance or accounting
  • Knowledge of audit, process improvements highly desired
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Prior experience with project delivery for large, global, cross functional projects ideally in system implementation
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Skilled in Microsoft Teams
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc...)
  • Experience using Microsoft Project Experience using JIRA Skilled in Tableau

 

Additional Information:

  • Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
  • Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel
  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers
  • Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment
  • Colorado Only: The range provided is for Colorado-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than CO may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Pay range: $102,000 - $127,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
