Product Management Intern

The Opportunity:

Interos is changing the future now on how organizations find risk and innovation in their networks of business relationships in their supply chain. We're looking for a Product Management Intern who is curious, detail oriented and want to be entrusted with real responsibility and embrace the opportunity to make our product practice better. You’ll be a full member of the Product Management team, learning to solve real world problems and learning how the product management team defines and maintains our product roadmap. You will be working in a collaborative, agile environment, where every voice matters, and outside the box thinking is encouraged.

Dates of Internship: June 6, 2022-August 5, 2022

Essential Functions/duties:
  • Help develop the long-term product and technology vision for the Interos platform.
  • Work with cross-functional technical teams responsible for executing the Product team’s requirements.
  • A strong drive to support the development of the product strategy, go-to-market plans, and product design documents (concept document, business case, product requirements).
  • Gain an understanding of how to capture, understand and translate customer and market feedback into actionable user stories.
  • Gain an understanding of how to create product road maps and plans that address key market needs.
  • Gain an understanding of how to distill market research and customer feedback to provide perspective to the product team and product road map.
  • Understand the changing third-party risk management landscape and integrate movements into product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to create design concepts and with Engineering to implement and iterate on these concepts.
  • Track usage performance to iterate and further improve the business.
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science.
  • Eagerness and self-starting approach and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated business savvy and technical skills, and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with Agile methodology to drive product development and delivery.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and to build strong and productive relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial and resourceful with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Focused on providing excellent customer experiences ensure high end-user satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduation date of December 2022 or May 2023.
  • Previous intern experience is a plus.

Vaccination Requirement:

Interos is required to comply with Federal Executive Order 14042 mandating employees be vaccinated against COVID-19. Accordingly, as of January 4, 2022, all Interos employees must be fully vaccinated* against COVID-19, unless you have a legally valid medical or religious reason. *Fully vaccinated means an individual must have received their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine no later than 14 days before January 4, 2022.
